Five Facts Challenge

Back in February of this year, my friend tagged me on Instagram to do what is called the “Five Facts Challenge.” What this entailed was that I would post five interesting (See, this is the hard part lol) facts about myself and then tag a few other friends who would proceed to do the same. This chain would supposedly continue until a new trend came around.

By the time I got around to making my list, the “Five Facts” craze was mostly gone. Posting about it now would be nothing less than embarrassing, so I decided to turn to my trusty blog where I know none of you will judge me. I wish I could say I had fun putting this together, but it was definitely stressful as I tried to sound as unique as possible. Sigh.
  • I participated in competitive roller skating for about four years. No, I don’t mean roller derby. I participated in two types of events: figure and freestyle. Figure skating involved me trying to trace different circles on one foot as precisely as I possibly could. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I was pretty good at this. During freestyle skating, I would perform a series of jumps and spins in tune with music selected by my coach. To help you get a better idea of what I did, imagine a traditional ice skater but on roller skates.
  • I used to do Tae Kwon Do. I started to go less frequently to my classes around middle school, so I never ended up getting my black belt. However, I will say that you should watch out for my kicks.
  • I didn’t own any makeup until the summer before I started college. The only reason I even got any was because one of my close friends was getting married and I was a bridesmaid. It was my first time being so involved in someone’s wedding and I remember being really excited.
  • My favorite color is blue. I also really like maroon. This is kind of a generic fact but I'm just going to go with it.
  • I used to have a cat. He was a Maine Coon and he was about ten years old when he passed away. My family isn’t planning on getting another one, or any other pet. Maybe a fish but I’d probably end up having to take care of it…
